About Us
The history of MaJo usluge dates back to the 1970's, when Josip Vodopija started installing central heating in homes in Zagreb and its surroundings. As a top heating installer, he left an indelible mark and laid the foundations for the company's further growth. He was joined by his son, Mato and together they installed heating and plumbing in residential units, but are also focused on maintenance of mechanical heating installations for larger corporations, such as the Klara Baking Industry, then the largest producer of bread and bakery products in Croatia, Derma (leather processing) and others. The company installed heating and plumbing for larger projects, such as the Trešnja Theater in Zagreb and several dozen larger residential and commercial buildings in Zagreb and throughout Croatia, still adhering to the principles of high quality work and professionalism.
In 2016, Matea and Josip Vodopija, as the third generation of the family, assumed management of the business and thus MaJo usluge was officially born. The company then becomes competitive with all larger companies in Croatia inthe performance of mechanical installations. They work on larger residential and commercial projects, apartments and hotels on the Croatian coast. After the devastating earthquake in Zagreb, they actively started rehabilitating the city (repairing chimneys, installing condensing gas devices and repairing plumbing). MaJo usluge did maintenance work for GSKG (the largest property management company in Croatia), installed water meters for actual water consumption in apartments for VIO (water distributor for the city of Zagreb) and others.
From the very beginning in 1988, the company has educated and trained young people as heating, cooling and plumbing installers, in cooperation with secondary schools in Zagreb, with more than 330 have left our company as trained fitters, prepared for future work in the field.
At the end of 2021, MaJo Usluge invested significant resources in expanding into Germany. Additional professional fitters were added to the team and equipped with high-quality tools. Operations on sites in Nuremberg and Frankfurt commenced in 2022, including large-scale heating, cooling, ventilation and water supply and drainage installations.
